Blocked application data: List of applications you’ve chosen to block
Earned and used time: Records of screen time earned through physical activity and time spent using applications
Daily statistics: Aggregated data about your activity patterns and app usage over time
2.2. Required Permissions
To provide our core functionality, the App requires several permissions:
Activity Recognition: To count steps and convert them to earned time
Usage Statistics Access: To monitor app usage time and implement blocking features
Accessibility Services: To provide app blocking functionality
Battery Optimization Exemption: To ensure the App works continuously in the background
Display Over Other Apps: To show time alerts and blocking screens
Internet: Used exclusively for subscription verification through Google Play Billing
System Alert Window: To display blocking interfaces and time notifications
2.3. Subscription Information
When you subscribe to DontRot, payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We receive only the following information related to subscriptions:
Subscription status (active, expired, in trial period, or in grace period)
Subscription purchase date and expiration date
Subscription type
We do not receive, process, or store your payment information (such as credit card details).
3. How We Use Your Information
3.1. Local Data Usage
The data collected and stored locally on your device is used exclusively to:
Track your physical activity and convert it into earned screen time
Monitor your app usage to enforce time limits you set
Generate statistics and insights about your digital habits
Implement app blocking features based on your settings
Provide you with a personalized experience within the App
3.2. Subscription Status
Subscription information is used to:
Verify your access to the App
Manage trial periods and grace periods
Provide appropriate customer support
3.3. No External Data Processing
Since all user data remains on your device, we do not:
Analyze your behavior or create user profiles
Track your location or movements outside the functionality of step counting
Share your data with third parties

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1. Local Storage
All user-generated data is stored exclusively on your device using:
Android’s SharedPreferences for configuration and settings
Local SQLite database for statistics and usage data
Internal storage for application state information

The security of your data stored within the App depends on your device’s security measures. We implement standard security practices within our application code to protect against unauthorized access to your locally stored information, including:

Your data remains stored on your device until you choose to delete it by either:

There is no automatic deletion of your data as it is stored locally and not accessible to us.

5.2. No Additional Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any other third-party services or SDKs that would collect or process your data. We do not use:

6. Your Data Rights and Choices
6.1. Access and Control
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete access and control over your information. You can:
View your statistics and usage data within the App
Delete your data by clearing the App’s data through your device settings
Uninstall the App to remove all associated data
6.2. Permission Management
You can control the permissions granted to the App through your device’s settings. However, restricting certain permissions may limit the functionality of the App.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete such information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we may have collected information from your child, please contact us immediately.
8. International Data Transfers
Since all user data remains on your device and is not transmitted to external servers, there are no international data transfers of user-generated data.
For subscription management, Google Play Services may transfer data across borders according to their privacy policy.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by:
